Hi everyone. Stacey here! Laurie’s laptop has decided it doesn’t want to live anymore, so she asked me if I would update the journal for her.
Jack had a doctors visit today. We were vere excited to learn that his levels were up, as was his immunity. His blood counts however, were a little low, so the doctor decided to give him some blood as a booster.
Laurie tells me that Jack has been feeling great and acting pretty much like a 2 year old kiddo should. He loves Braden, and in fact on the way out of the doctor today, he announced to all that would listen, “I’m outta here, I’ve got to go see Braden”.
Also, she was told that his next chemo treatment will be on an outpatient basis. This is so wonderful, as it means he gets to stay at home and in his own bed, where he belongs.
We are so thankful to all of the support that has been shown. I know that it means the world to Laurie and Zac and also to the rest of us.
And now! We have some exciting news to let you all know about! On April 10th from 2:00 to 6:00, we will have a “Shave-Off for Jack” benefit event that will be held at Loco Patron Scottsdale.
Come show your support of Jack, and for a $20 donation to Jack’s Fund, guys (and possibly a few gals) can get their head shaved for Jack! It’s going to be an exciting and fun filled afternoon with some super suprises in store. We will have t shirts for all the brave shavers and also special t-shirts available for purchase for those of you who aren’t able to go au natural.
So save the date! It’s going to be one great afternoon for us all to show support not only to Jack, but to all of those who have been touched by cancer. A special thanks to all of those at Loco Patron Scottdale for their generous offer to host our event. See you there!!
